Abstract

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) non-drug therapies have an irreplaceable value in pediatric clinical practice. However, due to their own characteristics, the integration of TCM non-drug therapies into the DRG payment system faces many practical difficulties. The paper proposes to clarify the pediatric dominant diseases of TCM, construct a unique grouping code for pediatric TCM, adjust the payment standard for TCM non-drug therapies in pediatrics, and create a pediatric TCM ambulatory ward, so as to better promote the development of TCM pediatric non-drug therapies and enable them to play more important role in pediatric medical services.
