Objective: The paper studies the spatial distribution characteristics and accessibility level of the designated institutions for long-term care insurance in Guangzhou. Methods: Analysis was conducted with nearest neighbor index, kernel density analysis, Ripley's K-function analysis, and network analysis methods. Results: ① Guangzhou long-term care insurance designated institutions are clustered spatial distribution, generally showing a "primary-secondary" core clustering distribution, with density distribution heavy in the south and light in the north, dense in the west and sparse in the east. ②The spatial distribution of different service types of designated institutions is obvious, with a high degree of spatial clustering of institutional care and home care designated institutions, and a more discrete distribution of “institutional plus home care” and equipment service designated institutions. ③In the spatial perspective of multi-distance scale, the clustering effect of Guangzhou long-term care insurance designated institutions is significant. ④The majority of Guangzhou's long-term care insurance facilities are located within the 20-minute traffic accessibility circle, and the accessibility of the long-term care insurance facilities is closely linked to the traffic network. Conclusion: In view of the current situation of spatial heterogeneity and accessibility level of designated service providers for long-term care insurance in Guangzhou, the government should further optimize the spatial distribution of designated service providers for long-term care, promote the construction of designated service providers, and improve the traffic network of secondary roads to help the development of the long-term care insurance in Guangzhou.
