Objective: The paper reviewed the progress in the establishment and implementation of the mechanism for dynamic adjustment of medical service prices in 15 demonstration cities with central financial support for public hospital reform and high-quality development, and provided references for the dynamic adjustment of medical service prices in other provinces and cities. Methods: By literature research method and comparative analysis method, the paper reviewed the policy documents of dynamic adjustment of medical service prices in demonstration cities and compared the progress of price adjustment. Results: Sanming, Yichang, Xiangtan, Wuhu, Lishui and Zhongwei have made relatively rapid progress in price adjustment, and other regions still need to further improve the dynamic adjustment mechanism of medical service prices. Conclusions: Medical insurance departments should formulate implementation rules for dynamic adjustment of medical service prices based on local conditions, support public hospitals to participate in the dynamic adjustment of medical service prices on a cost-based basis, and ensure that the price level of medical services is commensurate with the level of regional economic development and per capita disposable income.
