Objective: The effect of coronary stent centralized procurement on patients with coronary stent implantation was analyzed, so as to provide reference for the cost control in hospitals and departments. Methods: A retrospective study was adopted to collect data on first page of medical records before and after the implementation of coronary stent volume procurement policy, and analyze the hospitalization expenses of patients. Results: The total hospitalization cost and consumables cost (mainly coronary stent cost) of patients before and after coronary stent volume procurement decreased significantly, and the medical service fee increased (P﹤0.05). Conclusion: The centralized procurement policy of coronary stent has remarkable effect on the cost control of patients with coronary stent implantation, which can help the hospital to carry out the cost control, rationally allocate medical resources, optimize clinical pathways, and develop refined management.
