Research on the Development of Medical Liability Insurance System Construction in China——Based on Experience of Shenzhen, Chongqing and Nanjing

Abstract

The paper summarizes the experience of the medical liability insurance system in Shenzhen, Chongqing and Nanjing, including the establishment of additional insurance types, the classification of insurance premium rates and integration insurance. Also it analyzes the problems of medical liability insurance system in these cities, such as the lack of national policies, and failure to meet the demand of hospitals under the non-unified insurance system. Finally, it proposes to release national policy and improve the adaptability of the insurance to private and primary medical institutions.
