By analyzing the reasons and influence of overdue enterprise medical insurance premium, the paper introduces the main methods and preliminary effects of clearing the medical insurance arrears of employees in Jiaozuo City, and puts forward policy suggestions. Jiaozuo City has achieved preliminary results in clearing enterprise arrears through targeted guidance and precise implementation of policies. However, it is a long-term task to improve the stable and sustainable financing operation mechanism, which still needs to be improved in building a co-construction, co-governance and sharing mechanism, enhancing the overall awareness of serving economic and social development, and innovating the financing mechanism.
