Values of Applying Performance Management into Hospital Pharmacy Management——Taking a Hospital in Zhongshan as an Example

Abstract

Objective: The paper explores the values of applying performance management in hospital pharmacy management.Methods: 18 pharmacists were selected as the research subjects and divided into the control group and the test group according to different management methods, with 9 people in each group. The control group adopts the conventional management mode, while the test group adopts the performance management mode. Pharmaceutical management effects were compared between the two groups.Results: The total score of performance evaluation in the test group was higher than that of the control group in work attitude, workload, appearance and professional quality score (P<0.05). The total score of pharmacy management quality in test group was higher than that of the control group in drug education, primary care, drug use and drug safety score (P<0.05). Irrational drug use in the test group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: The application of performance management in hospital pharmacy management has great value and can improve the management quality.
