Shaoxing has implemented the municipal overall planning of basic medical insurance since 2021. Based on the unification of system and policy, the unified collection and expenditure of funds as the core and the integration of management and service as the goal, Shaoxing has comprehensively implemented the municipal overall planning of basic medical insurance through five unification, and achieved three major results. In the next step, Shaoxing also needs to continuously improve its fund-raising management under the overall planning of the municipal level, strengthen the reform of payment methods, and strengthen services, so as to better serve the insured people.
