In order to actively cope with the risk of large-scale disability caused by the rapid development of population aging, China urgently needs to establish a sound long-term care service system. The United States entered the aging society earlier, long-term care services developed earlier with more mature experience. Studying the successful experience of the long-term care services development in the United States has important implications for improving China's long-term care service system. This article introduces the development background, content overview, experience of long-term care services in the United States, puts forward countermeasures, suggestions to improve the development of long-term care services in China
