Objective: The paper aims to strengthen the understanding of medical insurance departments on the medical insurance payment efficiency of medical institutions|and establish a specific quantitative evaluation system for medical institutions. Methods: Based on the CHS-DRG1.1 grouping device of the National Healthcare Security Administration|number of DRG groups|case mix index|time consumption index|cost consumption index and mortality of low-risk groups were used as evaluation indicators|and the efficiency of inpatient medical insurance funds of 246 public medical institutions above level-2 in Shandong province was evaluated by rank sum ratio method. Results: The maximum number of DRG groups received by medical institutions was 599|the average case mix index was 1.1550|and the average mortality of low-risk group was 0.0078%. Conclusion: We should give full play to the incentive and restraint role of evaluation|reflect the policy guidance of medical insurance payment mechanism|guide medical institutions to strengthen internal operation and management|and improve the use efficiency of medical insurance funds.
