This paper systematically analyzes the content of LTCI policies of cities in Shandong Province from the dimensions of guaranteed population, fund raising, evaluation criteria, benefit payment. At the same time, this article discusses the main achievements in the implementation of the policy, the aspects that should be improved in the next step. Then, we put forward the corresponding countermeasures, suggestions for improving the LTCI system in Shandong Province, China
